Creepy Crawly and Moody Garden

Moody Garden was a gracious host having us out there on January 3. It was terrific having the community help color and design the puzzle pieces. Many of the kids had fun coloring, and the parents had fun learning about the math behind the artwork.

Marjorie Rice inspired the puzzle from this artwork. To learn more about Marjorie here is a great post from Mathhappens Foundation when they first talked about it. She has been an inspiration to us and a reminder that math doesn’t have to be about numbers and paper.
